QuantFlow is partnering with a boutique public relations agency working with clients across crypto, AI, and institutional finance. They are hiring a Senior Account Director to lead strategy and serve as the connective tissue between clients, account managers, and the media.
This is a senior, accountable role. You will own how client announcements come to market, coach account managers to pitch with confidence, and guide accounts from onboarding through execution. You will work US business hours and report directly to agency leadership.
Responsibilities
- Build go-to-market plans for client announcements, including funding rounds, product launches, partnerships, and milestones. Develop messaging frameworks, embargo strategy, and tiered media rollouts.
- Coach and support account managers on media pitching: sharpening angles, refining target lists, and stepping into high-stakes pitches directly.
- Act as a strategic guide to account managers across the full client lifecycle, from onboarding through day-to-day execution.
- Serve as a senior strategic point of contact for clients, translating their business goals into earned-media strategy.
- Maintain and grow relationships with journalists across the agency's core sectors, and help the team build theirs.
- Own measurable outcomes for the accounts you guide: coverage quality, pitch success rates, and client retention.
What success looks like
- Within 3 months: fluent in the client roster and actively guiding account managers day to day.
- Within 6 months: owning go-to-market for major client announcements and demonstrably lifting pitch success rates and coverage quality.
- Ongoing: account managers are more capable and confident, and clients see the agency as a genuine strategic partner.
